At Legacy we give the first three days of each month to God in fasting.This month Pastor Micah is calling the church to a “media fast”. This would include movies, shows on TV, magazines, books, radio, internet (ie. Facebook, twitter, ect) and any other type of entertainment which is viewed or heard that is not spiritually uplifting. For the next three days, let’s focus all of our attention on life giving, spiritual pursuits!

The question becomes, what DO I do? You can read the scripture, listen to Christian music, read books dealing with uplifting spiritual themes, listen to sermons, watch biblically based movies, listen to Christian books on tape. There are many great books at the used bookstore and if you would like a recommendation, email us! If you prefer audio books, they are also available at the used bookstore.

What will the result be? What will happen in our Sunday service if each one of us has dedicated ourselves to being separate from the world and focused solely on Christ? We’re excited to find out! Let’s do it together!
